Filled with juicy shrimp, garlic, and ginger, this mandu brings together a crisp outer bite and a soft, flavorful center. Steamed then lightly browned, it captures the natural seafood umami at the heart of Korean cuisine.
Cook from frozen. do not thaw.
FRYING PAN, half steam: Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium heat and place the mandu in it. Brown on one side for 2 minutes then add 3 tbsp of water and cover for 4 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for 1 minute.
FRYING PAN, Korean style (recommended): Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan over medium heat, add the mandu and cook for 10 minutes until golden brown on all sides.
MICROWAVE: Put the still-frozen mandu on a plate and reheat 3 minutes 30 at 900W*.
